DGA900ZKX2 Battery-Powered Angle Grinder 2 x 18 V

The innovative 2 x 18 V drive of the battery angle grinder protects the environment and the wallet, but provides full power. The idle speed reaches up to 6,000 revolutions per minute, with the grinding disc diameter 230 mm.

The battery angle grinder DGA900ZKX2 converts the used 2 x 18 V into powerful 36 V and the device is ready to use with the 2 x 18 V original Makita system.

Handy and powerful

With the included ADT Automatic Torque Drive Technology, the speed of the DGA900ZKX2 is automatically regulated during operation to achieve optimum performance depending on requirements. It is also equipped with a brushless motor. The engine brake, the restart lock, which prevents the accidental start after replacing the battery, the electronic overload protection and the soft start ensure optimal safety during use.

The brushless motor reduces the power consumption and at the same time achieves a more compact design of the battery angle grinder.

When blocking the tool, the Active Feedback Sensing Technology (AFT) enters force and automatically stops the engine.

Safe and durable

An additional built-in LED warns you of a decreased battery voltage or overload. The all-round metal bracket also protects the batteries from damage. As the rear handle is decoupled from the engine/gear unit, it transmits less vibrations and ensures a more comfortable working. The battery angle grinder is powered by two 18 volt batteries.

Here batteries with 1.5 (only BL1815N) up to 6.0 Ah can be used: the higher the amperage hours (Ah), the longer the battery angle grinder can be used with a battery charge.

For batteries with different amp hours, the device adjusts to the battery with the lower Ah and turns off when it is empty. It is recommended to use the same batteries.

Battery and charger not included

The model is delivered without battery and without charger. This saves you money if you already own compatible 18.0 V Li-Ion batteries from Makita. These are compatible with a wide range of devices. For example, if you don't have a Makita battery, you can get started directly with the additional Makita Power Source kit.

The model is delivered in a transport case. Also included is an Ezynut, a tool-free protective cover and an AVT side handle.
